YESEO, Kimbap Media partner to help journalists with new tools

The YESEO app is joining forces with Kimbap Media to build out our next phase of operations. And we want you to be a part of it!

🧑‍💻 Over the next six months, Ryan Restivo will be hard at work, coding away at three new features to expand YESEO’s capabilities beyond surfacing SEO friendly headlines for news stories.

“I’ve admired Emma’s work in this industry for a long time and I’m excited to work with her to shape the future of a product that has already helped so many journalists,” Restivo said.

🤝 Meanwhile, Emma Carew Grovum is currently recruiting 10 newsrooms to represent a sample of industry archetypes and serve as testers and case studies.

“I’m super thrilled to be able to help connect the dots between newsrooms and technology that was built for journalism by a journalist,” Carew Grovum said.

👯 These test newsrooms will join together and learn as a cohort, exploring big picture themes like, how are tools and technology supporting their journalism and how do systems like the YESEO app fit into the local news ecosystem as a paid product? Each newsroom will get to choose which feature or features they want to test for with their staff.

👀 We are looking for newsrooms of all shapes and sizes to join the cohort, and we’re also looking for boosters and amplifiers along the way. If you want to learn more about the YESEO app and keep in touch as our story develops? Sign up for email updates here.

💻 If you want to learn more about what kinds of newsroom partners we’re seeking and see the first feature demoed, Ryan and Emma are hosting a webinar on October 14 at 2 PM ET. Sign up now.

📅 Can’t make the webinar? Sign up for a 1:1 call with Emma! During this 20-minute informational interview, you’ll have plenty of time to ask questions and get a better sense of how the cohort program will be structured.AfroLA Story
